This article was written a day back and could not be posted earlier due to an impromptu drinking session. Also, this article isn't written for traffic, if you think it has been written for traffic, here's what you should do.
November 19: I wasted my entire morning trying to figure out what the ruckus behind the Barkha Dutt tapes is all about. My reaction can be best explained by this:
Nonetheless I decided to look for these audio tapes hoping to find something interesting. Once I found them, I stopped listening after a few seconds because who in their right mind would want to spend their morning listening to a phone conversation between two middle-aged women related to politics? Why would anyone even want to listen to these tapes when they can just go next doors and have their ears molested by Jigna Ben and Sheila Aunty as they discuss the trivialities of life? The person who taped it probably was so frustrated with the boring shit he heard, he wanted everybody to have their day ruined so he leaked it out. I've never heard Barkha Dutt speak so I don't know who is who in the audio tape. One of them sounds nagging and annoying and the other one sounds as if she has something permenantly implanted up her ass which is why she talks so slowly. "Heeeey theeere is sooomething uuuup myyyyyyy asssss, pleaase excusssse meeee aaaas I taaaake a fuuuuuucking deeeeecaade tooo fiiiniiish my seeeeeentence." I hate people who talk slowly and especially if you don't want to hear what they are saying. It's like watching a porn where the woman is already naked and ready and the guy is busy wasting time fucking some furniture. Just spill it out and get it done with. I was so angry, I ate an endangered animal out of spite.
Audio tape aside, my problem is not with Barkha Dutt because I've no opinion of her although her voice is really annoying. What fucks the happiness out of me is everyone wanking about the tapes.
Firstly, people want newspapers or journalists to speak out about this. How is that going to change anything? You already hate her and believe that she is responsible for lobbying. Do you want it on a piece of paper to confirm your views? And if these newspapers and journos speak about Barkha who is going to cover the latest happenings on Bigg Boss 4? Or is it that you want people who like and respect Barkha Dutt to realize that she is a lying, corrupt woman because some newspaper exposed her ugly side (I don't mean her face). What will that achieve? Will this propel the formation of a 'I hate Barkha Dutt' facebook page/ fan club where you sit around discussing how much you hate her while sipping tea like a snobby pseudo-intellectual and then high-five each other?
Do you really believe that every time corruption rears its ugly head (again I don't mean Barkha's face) within the ranks of journos, they are going to come out and splatter dirt over each other? Can't we all accept for a fact that everyone - excluding me - is a lying, venal, corrupt cunt and wouldn't want to splash shit on the other person for the fear of being exposed themselves? Can't we just take it for granted that these NEWS guys are all hand in pants with each other and they are either fondling each other’s balls or scratching their asses for favors? No one is going to speak against the other. It's not going to happen. Forget it.
Secondly, it's the internet bad guys who have decided to take it upon themselves to bring Barkha Dutt down. The "Fuck yeah! We have the power! You can't stop us! We've opinions and we'll be sure you hear them." attitude. Here is an example of a belligerent attack on Barkha Dutt which forced her to shit herself, clean up and shit herself again.
I've no idea what this shit is. I know actions speak louder than words but hey at least try a few words. Jesus Christ! JESUS CHRIST! Why can't people just shut up if they have nothing to say? Jumping on a topic when they know jack shit about it. Herd mentality retards. Anyways, how has Bigg Boss 4 been? Did Pamela's tits get the focus they deserved? Maybe they just focused on the ass. Oh by ass I mean Ashmit Patel. I can even extend it to everyone else on the show.
PS: If you want to read something sensible on the entire controversy read a blogpost by faking news on it. I'm not going to leave a link. If you are too lazy to search for it yourself maybe you deserve to be ignorant.
