I would like to thank all women for completely destroying the age-old debate of ‘which sex is smarter’. Women lost this debate tops down when they posted their bra colors as status messages on Facebook. I’ve always been pro-bra-coloring-posting but the ‘reason’ - in this case – is ludicrous. The reason was to raise awareness for breast cancer. I guess ladies out there are quite unaware of what is raised when bra colors are posted or mentioned.
The following thoughts come to a male mind when a female talks about her bra color.
- Boobies.
- Can I see it?
- Can I touch them?
- Boobies.
- A image of the aforementioned female with graphics bra details
- Boobies.
On the other hand the following are the thoughts when a female posts ‘breast cancer’
- Breast cancer
- Breast cancer
- Why are you telling me this?
- Not my fault I remember using a condom.
The previous comparison clearly shows that mentioning ‘breast cancer’ is a better idea when you are talking about breast cancer. But simply posting ‘Breast Cancer’ won’t be the ‘intelligent’ way. There is fat line between ‘bra colors’ and ‘breast cancer’ but hey we don’t need to ‘think’ when we are going with the flow.
Now, the objective of raising awareness would have been achieved if females would give reasons for their posting of colors as their status message.
Here is how a few discussions went.
Discussion 1:
Girl 1: Red
Me: WTF is this?
Girl 1: Hehehe
Me: Huh?
Girl 1: It’s not for you.
Discussion 2:
Girl 2: Black
Me: WTF is going on? Why are you girls posting colors?
Girl 2: Hehehe.
Me: Wait let me guess. It’s not for me?
Girl 2: Yes!
Me: Then who is this for? Why are you doing this?
Discussion 3:
Girl 3: Orange with a few chocolate stains
Me: Die already!
Discussion 4:
Girl 4: Yellow.
Me: Your names are going on my suicide note.
Further discussions ended with expletives, male chauvinistic comments and deletion from my friend list.
You know what awareness campaign that doesn’t create awareness is called? An awareness campaign run by females who think they are doing something cute and rebellious. Great job at NOT discussing the topic at hand! The word cancer was no where to be found. After some random googling I finally realized what was going on. I then proceeded to point out the gaping flaws in this campaign. These discussions ended with ‘you’re a jackass’, ‘meano’, ‘you’ll never understand’, more expletives, male chauvinistic comments and more deletion from my friend list.
They say men think with their dicks. I wonder what females think with.
PS: Coming soon - an AIDS awareness campaign where females will post their favorite positions.
PPS: I’m assuming the female who didn’t post any colors were not wearing a bra. I looking forward to additions to my friend list.
